At the heart of Painted Wolf Safaris is support for the highly endangered painted wolf

One of the major threats to the painted wolf is that few people know they exist and many who do, don’t care.

With only 6500 left in the wild, the Painted Wolf Foundation aims to put this highly endangered creature on the top table of conservation by raising awareness of this incredible species, its desperate plight and the measures that are needed to save it from extinction.

In addition, the Foundation supports conservation organisations on the ground such as Zimbabwe’s own Painted Dog Conservation and the African Wildlife Conservation Fund.

As well as directly making meaningful donations to conservation, Painted Wolf Safaris connects our guests with these organisations so that they can experience first hand what it takes to save this highly threatened creature.
